Harold Farber
Dr. Harold “Hal” Farber is one of the country’s foremost dermatologists, and a leader in the fight against skin cancer and many other skin conditions. Harold Farber went to medical school at Albany Medical College, distinguishing himself in the fields of Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Harold Farber finished his Internal Medicine internship at Albany Medical Center, and then accepted a position in the Department of Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Harold Farber eventually became Chief Resident of Dermatology at the hospital.
Today, Harold Farber runs a very successful practice, with two busy offices in Philadelphia and Narbeth, Pennsylvania. Aside from his busy practice, Dr. Harold Farber treats patients who cannot afford health care, and often volunteers for numerous skin-cancer screening programs.
Harold Farber has become nationally known as one of the country’s most prominent dermatology experts. Harold Farber has published numerous articles on skin conditions such as psoriasis, spider angioma, lipoma, and actinic keratoses. Harold Farber is one the country’s foremost experts on plastic surgery and photodynamic therapy. Harold Farber is also frequent guest lecturer at many dermatological conventions, including the Philadelphia Dermatological Society and the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology.
