Sean King
Sean King is the Vice President of Park Strategies, LLC, a public policy and business development company founded by former New York Senator Alphonse D’Amato in 1998.
As Vice President of Park Strategies, Sean King is responsible for developing business relations on behalf of Park Strategies in the entire Asia-Pacific region, which includes Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and China. Sean King’s emphasis is on commerce in Taiwan, where he manages the firm’s exploratory field office in Taipei.
Before working for Park Strategies, Sean King worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce as the Senior Adviser for Asia in the U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service. Sean King first worked with Alphonse D’Amato as a House File Production Manager in the 1990s, during which Sean King managed the bidding process, production, and quality control of direct marketing fundraising. Sean King has also lived in Singapore, where he was employed with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) and Citibank.
Sean King graduated from the University of Notre Dame with an MBA. He received his undergraduate degree from the American University in Washington, D.C.
In 2007-2008, Sean King worked on behalf of Park Strategies from his office in Taipei during the Taiwanese democratic elections. Sean King has written a number of articles over the years regarding business and political affairs in Taiwan. On the election of Ma Ying-jeug, Sean King interviewed with Bloomberg about the effects of the election on business and trade between Taiwan, the United States and mainland China.
