Tim Blixseth

Tim Blixseth, a well-known American billionaire of Norwegian roots, was born in Oregon, USA. Just like many success stories, Tim Blixseth’s started off with him being a simple man. During his 20s, Tim Blixseth earned a living by purchasing and selling timber and timberland. After earning large profits, Tim Blixseth successfully turned these into millions.

However, Tim Blixseth also encountered some misfortunes along the way and eventually lost a large amount of his wealth. After a few years, though, he managed to regain his wealth by getting involved in strategic real estate investments in Montana.

discovered his calling in business at an early age. Growing up, Tim Blixseth attended Saturday classes in order to spend more time working at lumber mills and grocery stores. At the age of 15, he sealed his first business transaction by selling donkeys.

He finished high school in 1968 and attended the Umpqua Community College for a brief period. Instead of finishing college, Tim Blixseth went on to work for the railroads and timber mills industries instead.

After amassing great fortune and eventually losing a great percentage of it, Timothy Blixseth shifted his attention towards the real estate business and became a co-founder of the Crown Pacific in 1988.
